Experiments related to physics of the atmosphere and ocean, and energy problems. Weather observations following international standard airway procedure. Weather map analysis. Air and water pollution measurements. Tidal and oceanographic chart exercises. Introduces students to Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences. The course presents basic scientific principles and how they apply to the atmosphere and oceans. Fulfills the science requirement without lab (or with lab if taken in conjunction with PH120).
