BTECH is a 9-14 early college, CTE (career and technical education) school that opened in September 2014. Queensborough Community College partnered with the NYC Department of Education and the multinational software corporation, SAP, to found this school. Students have the opportunity to earn their high school diploma and either an A.A.S. degree in Internet and Information Technology or an A.S. in Business Administration tuition free within six years of enrolling at BTECH. Students also have the opportunity to participate in Baruch's Business Academy through the articulation agreement between Queensborough and Baruch. Throughout their time at BTECH and Queensborough, students build professional skills through the program’s work-based learning initiative, and may have the opportunity to participate in internship and apprenticeships in their perspective fields. The school is co-located with Martin Van Buren High School at 230-17 Hillside Avenue in Queens Village.
Contact information for the school is available at the website above. The Queensborough Community College BTECH Liaison can be reached at the phone number and email address above.
