Queensborough Community College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). The MSCHE is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
Queensborough Community College is also accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre (NAST); National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD); and the National Association of Schools of Dance (NASD).
Degree program accreditations include programs in Computer Engineering Technology, Electronic Engineering Technology, and Mechanical Engineering Technology, accredited by ETAC of ABET (Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET); the program in Nursing, accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc.
