I am pleased to welcome you to the 2025-2026 Academic Year at Queensborough Community College!
We are thrilled to have you here and hope your time at Queensborough is both welcoming and fulfilling. Our entire community is committed to supporting your success. In this College Catalog, you will find detailed information about the academic programs and courses offered at Queensborough, as well as the various resources available to help ensure your success as a student.
I know you will feel at home on our 37-acre campus. Queensborough Community College is proud to serve a diverse student body that mirrors the rich cultural fabric of Queens. Accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, Queensborough offers a wide range of transfer and degree programs through its 16 academic departments, including Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Science (AS), and Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degrees. In addition, the College provides non-credit courses and certificate programs to meet the needs of our community.

With 70% of our faculty holding doctoral or terminal degrees, your professors are deeply involved in advancing teaching strategies that enhance your learning experience. They also conduct cutting-edge research in their fields, publish their work, and participate in international academic forums. This commitment to research and discovery enriches your education by offering you the chance to learn from experts who are at the forefront of their fields of study.
Historically, more than half of our students transfer to a four-year CUNY college upon earning their associate degree.
