The A.A.S. degree program in Internet and Information Technology provides students with a broad understanding of the design, development, and management of web applications, cloud technologies, and associated concepts. Students learn a variety of programming paradigms for software development and scripting with an emphasis on web-oriented implementations using front and backend technologies, databases, and version control/collaboration. They learn to solve real-world problems and discover new opportunities through experiential learning.

Job opportunities include software engineering, cloud computing, DevOps, network administration, database administration, mobile development, technical support, and related occupations. The curriculum integrates technical and general education skills in Internet and information technology as a gateway to more advanced and specialized study.

We live in the “information age” where information technology has become an essential part of our everyday lives and the Internet and Information Technology program is designed to give students the foundation needed to succeed in this dynamic field.
