Description
This course covers the Application of movement principles to games and sports for children. Students will develop knowledge and skills in K-8 physical activities, games and sports. This course provides foundational training in summer camp and after-school program activities. Topics include, safety training, health concerns, physical education terminology, biomechanics and leadership skills. Students will practice work-related scenarios to gain experience leading group activities with young children.
