ET 991 - Cooperative Education in Engineering Technology
Open only to matriculated students who have achieved a minimum grade-point average of 2.0 in their major field of study; have completed at least 12 pertinent credits in an Engineering Technology related curricula; and are recommended and approved by the chairperson of the Department and the coordinator of Cooperative Education.The cooperative education experience in Engineering Technology includes employment in a field experience which supplements classroom theory and laboratory instruction with related on-the-job professional training. Students are placed in a work situation for 45 hours, participate in a monthly seminar, and submit a term project related to the work experience. A written evaluation is provided by the employer.
