The Radiation Safety Certificate Program provides students with a foundation in the principles of radiation and radiation protection. This program is most relevant to those seeking eventual employment as a radiological control technician at places that generate or incorporate radioactive materials, such as nuclear power plants, national laboratories, research centers, or medical facilities. The Certificate Program includes one-year courses in English Composition, General Chemistry, College Physics, and Radiation Safety.
