This course is designed to provide students with basic concepts of algebra, arithmetic, and geometry that are essential for an introductory level Algebra/Trigonometry course as well as the support needed to pass subject matter covered in MA-114. Topics include: signed numbers, algebra of exponents, solving linear equations, equations of lines, factoring and its applications, polynomials, square roots, in addition to necessary support needed to pass subject matter covered in MA-114.
