Business Statistics
Catalog Description
An introduction to statistical methods as a basis for decision making in business, utilizing descriptive methods to collect, organize and present data and utilizing various statistical techniques to analyze data in order to make data informed business decisions. Students will learn to present data and calculate measures of location and dispersion. They will also learn probability distributions, sampling, estimation and confidence intervals, hypothesis testing and correlation and regression. Students will use spreadsheet to present and analyze data.
