A survey of systems employed in buildings including plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and fire alarm and suppression. System components, design, application, equipment locations and distribution will be examined. Sustainability and energy efficiency applications will be addressed and software used for data analysis. National codes are introduced. Generally offered only in the spring semester.
